Good morning, America.

Last night, we were invited for our first dinner-out at the sodhis. they are a nice family, and have been here for about two months. they have a kid, whose americanised name is 'ben' (no connection to abhijit) who seemed very excited to see me. His sister is, how do i say this? - very, very hot.

my shoulders ached this morning, but the diclofenac seems to have done it's job by now. we had aloo-paranthas at kiran's place today. She's my mom's junior from GMCH-32, and she has been very nice to us.

i've got to get some new footwear. my sandals are damaged, and need replacement.

D-Day+1

ahh, air travel.

those of us fortunate enough to have used the excellent service on the GT road from Delhi to Chandigarh on the Volvo B7R buses, will have an idea of the level of comfort in my trip if they multiply the experience by 5 times.
Chicago airport was a relaxing stopover, and we did have a nice but expensive breakfast(35 quid) but you guys had to see dad in action. the 17 hour flight had caused his pagri to become rather stogy, so he decided to tie it on again in full public view; in the main gallery of the O'hare airport.

the TSA guy near us looked like he'd seen a circus performance, which my dad's special spin-around turban-tying procedure does resemble. we had quite an audience of gaping white people around us.

Chicago is full of such fat people, that it made me feel like i had Bruce Lee's body. of course, the appearance of a rare pretty woman or handsome stud got me down to earth.
